Manual Retracting Mechanism of Needle
Activating Retracting Mechanism of Needle:
The retracting of needle takes place when the plunger is completely pushed to the bottom of barrel (0 ml mark) with audible click. The head of rubber piston is then hooked with needle that can be drawn backward direction so that the needle could stay in the barrel.
WHO recommends the use of syringes with a sharps injury protection feature (SIP devices), as opposed to syringes without a SIP feature, by health care workers delivering intramuscular, subcutaneous or intradermal injectable medications to patients
